Walleye Charter

Chelsea Charters logo

The Walleye fishing season begins in April and runs through November.  Lake Erie walleye in the 3-6 pound class are common.  Trophy size walleye 6-10 pounds are taken regularly.  The best fishing times for  Fish Ohio walleye (28"+) is in early spring or fall.  We start the season in April, fishing around Lake Erie's natural reefs and the Maumee Bay in the Western Basin.  Here huge numbers of walleye come to spawn and will move east as the season progresses.
