Rocky River Update
Officials have the dead fish broken down by species, the preliminary-only totals are: crappie,16; trout, 72; minnows (all subspecies), 22,018; darters, 3,287; suckers, 3,962; crayfish, 61; frogs, 3; shad, 2; sunfish, 143; smallmouth bass, 49. That is a ton of fish...

Thousands of Fish Found Dead in the Rocky River
ROCKY RIVER, Ohio -- Tens of thousands of fish of all sizes and species have died in the East Branch of the Rocky River in the Cleveland Metroparks since Sunday afternoon, bringing crews from several state agencies to investigate for toxic pollutants, test river waters and document the range of the fish kill.
